1. Data controller
The data controller is MAFF LLC, 3510 Kraft Road, Suite 200, Naples, FL 34105, United States, together with its subsidiaries Maff Trade S.A.S. (Colombia) and Maff SpA (Chile), depending on the country of the data subject and the company that handles the request. Contact: info@maffhealth.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect the data you give us through the contact form, e-mail or WhatsApp: name, institution or company, profile, country, work e-mail, phone number and the content of your message. Our server also records minimal technical data (IP address, browser and date) for security purposes.
We do not request sensitive data. Please do not include information that identifies patients. Adverse event reports must be submitted without patient identifiers.
3. Purposes
- Answer your requests, quotes and enquiries.
- Manage relationships with institutions, distributors and suppliers.
- Send the technical and regulatory documentation you request.
- Handle product complaints and adverse event reports, as required by medical device regulations.
- Comply with legal obligations and protect the security of the site.
We do not sell personal data. We will only send commercial communications if you authorise it, and you can withdraw that authorisation at any time.
4. Legal basis
Your consent, given when you submit the form; the steps needed before a contractual relationship; compliance with legal obligations (including medical device vigilance); and our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure.
5. Who we share data with
Only when necessary to answer your request: hosting and e-mail providers; the form delivery service (FormSubmit), which forwards your message to our mailbox; WhatsApp (Meta) if you choose that channel; Maff Health subsidiaries and the authorised distributor in your country; and authorities when the law requires it. Each provider processes data only to provide its service.
6. International transfers
Your data may be processed in the United States and in the countries where our subsidiaries and distributors operate. We apply contractual and security measures so that the data keeps a level of protection consistent with this policy.
7. Retention
We keep data for as long as needed for the purpose for which it was collected and to meet legal obligations. Vigilance and complaint records are kept for the period required by the applicable medical device regulations.
8. Your rights
You may request access, update, correction, deletion, objection, portability or withdrawal of consent, under the law that applies to you, including Colombian Law 1581 of 2012 and Decree 1074 of 2015, Chilean Law 19,628 and its amendments, and other applicable laws.
To exercise them, write to info@maffhealth.com with the subject “Personal data”, stating your name, country and request. We reply within the legal deadlines. In Colombia you may also contact the Superintendence of Industry and Commerce.
9. Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics, and its fonts are served from our own server. WordPress may set technical cookies only for administrators. If we add measurement tools, we will update this policy and request consent where required.
10. Security
The site uses encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to the systems where the data is stored.
11. Minors
This site is intended for healthcare professionals, institutions and companies. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always available on this page, with its update date.
